Phoebe has been a yoga practitioner for over twenty years. Beginning in Junior High School, she and her dad took classes in the Iyengar tradition at the 577 Foundation in Perrysburg. It was there she began to realize the benefits of yoga, not only on herself but in the diversity of age groups in the class. In 2007 she was certified to teach at the 200 hundred level through Yoga Works in Seattle, WA. She eventually moved back to Ohio to be closer to her family, where she found Tonic, A Yoga, Barre, and Pilates studio. In 2012 she was hired as the studio manager at Tonic and taught yoga classes several times a week. In 2016 She became a certified Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga Teacher, studying under Judith Lasater in San Francisco. In 2022 she received a 50 hour certification on an in depth chakra study, “Peeling the Layers of the Chakras” with Jeanne Heileman.
Most recently Phoebe and her mom, Nancy, opened their own studio called Parting Clouds Yoga, fulfilling a life long dream of theirs. Being able to offer classes, teaching alongside a wonderful team of instructors, meeting a new community, as well as maintaining the community from Tonic, fills their hearts with joy.
In addition, Phoebe is a jewelry designer and artist. She sells her work at local galleries and art shows, making new creations regularly out of her home studio. She is so grateful to be part of the creative community as well as the wonderful yoga and wellness community that Parting Clouds Yoga now offers.
Nancy discovered yoga in her 20’s, in Bowling Green Ohio, through the Parks and Rec. Little did she know, at the time, she would be teaching yoga in BG through the parks and rec with her husband Steve, as part of their business, Parting Clouds Yoga. Over the years Nancy practiced on her own and read many books, absorbing yoga philosophy. Living in Perrysburg with her family she often attended yoga classes at 577 Foundation.
In 2007 Nancy traveled to Florida for teacher training at the Amrit Yoga Institute, studying with one of the last living gurus, Shri Amritji and his daughter Kamini. After receiving her 200 hr teaching certification she enrolled in the Yoga Nidra program and the 500 hr teacher training. Nancy was told at the time; she was the only person to study both programs at the institute concurrently. Her husband Steve loved practicing the Amrit method, nestled in deep ancient yogic practices of Swami Kripalu lineage, and enrolled in the 200 hr then the 500 hr teacher training at Amrit. Both completing the advanced teacher training program, to deepen even further their spritual yoga practice.
Nancy and Steve founded Parting Clouds Yoga and taught at various venues in the communities of Bowling Green, Waterville, Maumee (Tonic Studio) Toledo, Columbus, and in their home studio in Perrysburg, often giving students their first experience of a yoga class. Nancy taught Yoga Nidra for over 10 years at 577 Foundation-Perrysburg.
Following the death of Steve, after a long illness, Nancy began searching for an indepth yoga experience and attended the certification program -Kundalini Yoga for Addiction at Yogi Bajans Ashram in Massachusetts.
A year later in 2017, Nancy discovered Shiva Rae and Samudra Global School of Living Yoga and began attending her live Prana Vinyasa offerings in California and a pilgrimage to Khajuraho and Varanasi India. During Covid, Nancy continued her studies with Shiva, online, obtaining her 300 hr and then 500 hr teacher certification. She continues to study Prana Vinyasa based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya, Tantric, Ayurveda and Bhakti yoga.
Nancy and her daughter, Phoebe, manifested their dream of opening a yoga studio, serving the community, and providing members with a place where they too, can find their yoga journey. They continue to transmit the tradition of Parting Clouds Yoga.
Nancy is also a Registered Nurse, Massage Therapist, and Ordained Minsiter, each licensed in Ohio. She teaches Yoga for Grievers as well as providing homecare massage for a local hospice.
Stacy has been practicing yoga for close to a decade now, and its transformational power continues to humble and inspire her in each and every class she takes and teaches.
She obtained her 200 hour training in 2022 and in January of 2024 completed a 50 hour trauma informed continuing education course in Portugal!
Stacy 9-to-5’s it on the admin team for a fantastic family-owned company, Kripke Enterprises, Inc.
In the fall, her favorite evenings and weekends are spent watching her son Noah give his all to Maumee sports, or at the farmer’s market with my daughter Kennedy.
Winter is for internal introspection, learning and growing so she looks for ways to connect to herself, expand on current skills or learn new ones.
Her favorite free time adventures in the spring and summer are hiking and kayaking, but willing to try anything involving being active and outside in nature.
Stacy is currently putting her energy into becoming a better plant mom and fitted sheet folder. Ha!
She is excited to share space while we journey through meditation, movement and mindfulness.
Amanda received her 200-RYT certification in 2020 from Heartwood Yoga Institute in Bradenton, Florida. Her studies focused on Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Aerial Yoga, and Reiki Level 1. Her passions are Yin Yoga, sound healing, and stand-up paddleboard yoga. Her goal is to create a safe space to explore the benefits of breathwork and sound healing while targeting the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. This is in contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles.

Marcia has been practicing yoga regularly since 2012 when she found a community that she embraced and loved. However an accident in 2016, which ended in a broken knee and fractured arm, led her to taking a hiatus in her practice. Although she was able to come back to it after a six month recovery she felt something was missing.
Marcia's journey led her to completing her 200 hour certification at Happy Jack University where she is currently working on her 500 hour certification. The void began to be filled. Through her studies she learned the value of modifications which not only helps her students with injuries but is helping her deepen her own practice.
Marcia is a natural teacher and brings her love for yoga to all sharing moments. She firmly believes in the power of touch and offers hands-on assistance.
When Marcia is not practicing yoga she enjoys time with her family, cooking and entertaining.
